The every day life at the farm is marshaled by Terhi (also known as Tere
for Spanish) who is the heart and soul of the Finca (the one in the
picture with smaller ears). Like many super heroes in comics, she has
unnatural powers to take care of all sorts of animals, handle machinery
as well as kitchen and cooking. Last time when we met she had made
marmalade of
quince membrillo
- I even ignored that such fruit exists. Get her started about orange
farming and she'll tell thousand details about their upkeep and
irrigation. In the last century, when living in Finland, she ran a
riding school where trail rides and summer camps were organised.

Tilan hengetär on Terhi (Tere espanjalaisittain), kuvassa se, jolla on pienemmät korvat. Terhillä on lähes supersankarin taidot ylläpitää tilaa ja pyörittää sen arkea eläimineen, hyöty- ja koristekasveineen sekä kaiken maailman vekottimineen (öö hei, kuinkas se uima-altaan pumppu toimikaan?). Häenen tietotaito kattaa myös appelsiininviljelyn hienoudet.
Viime vuosisadan puolella Suomessa asuessaan Terhi veti ratsastuskoulua, jossa järjestettiin myös kesäisin ratsastusleirejä lapsille ja nuorille.
