In Finnish we have a funny expression for a "lazy day", we say someone is spending a cat's day. The ginger coloured cat in the picture, Repe (Reino-Petteri), is doing just that. Repe is one of six cats at La Finca los Majuelos, they all have different colours and characteristics, but the common feature seems to be that they like to occupy the best spots in the house!Repe's life wasn't always that easy, we know very little about the start of it. One day he was found in a trash can in the town of Cantillana. He was heavily dehydrated, malnourished and full of fleas! After recovering with good care, he now fully enjoys his life at the farm. And he loves to fill his stomach, as seen from pouch hanging under his belly.

Finca los Majuelosissa asustaa tällä hetkellä kuusi kissaa. Erinäköisiä ja erilaisia luonteeltaan, mutta yhteistä näille valloittaville viiksiniekoille on omanarvontunto. Kissat ovat vallanneet talosta nukkumapaikoikseen parhaat sohvapaikat ja nojatuolit. Jos erehdyn siirtämään heidät lattialle, he ovat syvästi närkästyneitä.
Reino-Petteri eli tuttavallisemmin Repe, on pienikokoinen mutta riippuvatsainen (Repellä on pohjaton ruokahalu) punavalkoinen kissa. Repe löydettiin ihan pienenä pentuna Cantillanan kylältä roskiksesta! Alku ei ollut lupaava, nestehukka, aliravitsemus ja kirput olivat vieneet voimat. Niistä selvittyään Repe viettää nykyään leppoisia kissanpäiviä tilalla.
